Oliver Angus Douglas

Oliver Angus Douglas is the son of Tim Douglas the well known Rule Water farmer poet. He attended Hawick High School from 1989 until 1995 and he feels he was lucky to be taught by many inspiring people including Rab Brown (Art and Design), Jock Houston (History), Ian Landles (History), and Martin Marroni (English). He studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Oxford University at undergraduate level and for his Doctorate. He now works at the Museum of English Rural Life in Reading as Assistant Curator. He is married with three sons, Solomon and Salvador who are twins and Santiago.
